Brooks Crossing Elementary

After School Enrichment Clubs

Spring Cycle 2025

Dear Brooks Crossing Families,

We are pleased to announce our winter cycle of our After School Enrichment Program for this school year. All students, grades K-5, from Brooks Crossing Elementary School can participate. Enrichment programs are exciting courses taught by Brooks Crossing teachers and other organization instructors that extend learning opportunities for students. Each club will take place at Brooks Crossing’s Main Campus on Tuesday or Thursday (days vary by activity) from 3:40 - 4:40 p.m

Enrichment programs are filled on a first come first served basis. For safety reasons, these clubs are limited in the number of students allowed to participate. A student may sign up for more than one program, assuming they are not scheduled on the same day of the week. Scholarships may be available, please fill out this form to see if your family qualifies.

Transportation home at 4:40pm is the responsibility of the parents. Students registered in the Champions After School Program will return to that program after their club ends.

There will be no clubs on early release days, and if school is closed due to inclement weather, the club(s) will be canceled for that day. A makeup session will be scheduled. In this instance, all students will follow their normal dismissal routine.

Please click here to view our spring cycle offerings and to register.

*When registering, please be mindful of grade levels offered for each club.*

Our phenomenal art teachers will be on site starting at 6PM. SB Helping Hands

SB Helping Hands is a community service organization that is currently working with the Brain Injury Alliance of New Jersey as part of their Champion Schools program. This is our third year as a part of the program and we are continuing our campaign to bring awareness to distracted driving. Our campaign is called "Mind on the Road, Hands on the Wheel" and our focus this year is on being a safe and responsible passenger and eliminating driving distractions. I am reaching out to see if it would be possible to put weekly coloring pages (made by our student executive board) for the SB Helping Hands club's distracted driving campaign? Part of the criteria for the state-wide competition that coincides with the campaign is community engagement. The pages would feature tips for kids to be safe passengers and would be simple illustrations for students to color and look at with their parents.

The Middlesex County Sheriff’s Office is pleased to announce the upcoming Junior Police Academy.  This allows students to gain insight into law enforcement, teamwork, and leadership.  The program is designed to provide a positive relationship between the students and law enforcement.  We would greatly appreciate your support in sharing this opportunity with parents and students in your district. Attached is a flyer with program details.
